The first ever Cannonsburg Micro Brew Showcase will take place right after the Duathalon at 11:30a.m. on September 2nd. Four great local breweries will be presenting a special draft to feature after the race:
About: The motto at Perrin Brewing Company is to go big or go home. A newcomer to the beer community, Perrin Brewing Company opened in September 2012. Their operation features an outdoor hop garden, gleaming concrete bar and in-house food truck serving a 218-seat taproom with a VIP loft, all situated alongside large windows into the brewhouse. With mainstay brands including a golden ale, a black lager, a raspberry blonde ale, an IPA and a grapefruit IPA, Perrin's is always sure to please.

About: Rockford Brewing Company produces world class beers using traditional and innovative brewing techniques and ingredients. They strive to create unique beers with influences from countries around the world including the United States, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the newest emerging craft beer location that has the world watching; Michigan. Part of their niche is working closely with West Michigan farmers and local ingredients on a seasonal basis. They've just introduce Erdbier Strawberry Wheat which used over 200 pounds of locally grown strawberries to produce.

About: Brewery Vivant, a business known for it's passion for sustainability, takes its inspiration from the Belgian and French traditions to make an artistic style of beer that is uniquely theirs by incorporating our love of great food and the use of local ingredients. Their most popular beer, Farmhand, is a French style farmhouse ale.

About: The Mitten Brewery, a vintage baseball-themed microbrewery and pizzeria located in historic Engine House No. 9, a Victorian-era firehouse and Grand Rapids landmark, is another newcomer to the micro-brewing scene in the area. The Mitten prides itself on brewing classic styles with a twist. With the serving tanks rotating every few days, The Mitten has already offered thirteen different varieties, not including their collaborations with other local breweries, since 2012. Guest favorites are “Peanuts and Crackerjack Porter” and the double IPA “’84”.
